Cov Futures: Stories That Made Us – Activism, Identity and Belonging
About
A free workshop led by Hardish Virk exploring storytelling through personal archives, with themes of activism, identity and belonging.
Led by archivist, curator and artist Hardish Virk, this Cov Futures workshop explores the Stories That Made Us project, which champions personal archives and the heritage stories they hold. Virk will discuss how objects found in archives can inspire stories told on stage or in exhibitions, with themes of activism, identity and belonging explored throughout. Participants are invited to bring personal objects such as photographs, leaflets, zines, badges or records and share their own related stories in a safe and accessible space. The session runs for three hours and includes two comfort breaks, with refreshments provided.
