About

Perfume Genius and choreographer Kate Wallich combine experimental pop and dance in a live work about desire, repression and shifting power.

Inspired by Elfriede Jelinek's novel The Piano Teacher, the performance makes the body part of its musical language. The Barbican names Mike Hadreas, Kate Wallich, Alan Wyffels and Tate Justus as performers, with additional creative credits retained in the page evidence. The start is listed at 20:00; the venue says stage times will be added later, and gives no running time.
