About
Dr James Wright gives a heritage talk at Mansfield Central Library on how buildings archaeology reveals the hidden histories of Nottinghamshire's ancient buildings.
Dr James Wright explains how buildings archaeology can uncover the secrets of hidden historic houses, from Tudor homes behind Victorian façades to mediaeval cottages beneath Georgian frontages and farm buildings that were once castles. The talk shows how clues in ordinary settlements across the land reveal ancient buildings hidden in plain sight. It takes place in person at Mansfield Central Library.
