The Strathfarrar Munros: Four Remote Highland Summits in a Hidden Glen

A guided mountain day traversing four remote Munros on the Strathfarrar ridge in one of Scotland's most secluded glens.

AFS Mountaineering leads a demanding guided hillwalk through Glen Strathfarrar, a gated glen west of Inverness with strictly limited vehicle access. The route climbs Sgùrr Fhuar-thuill, Sgùrr a' Choire Ghlais, Càrn nan Gobhar and Sgùrr na Ruaidhe along a sweeping ridge, covering roughly 25km with 1,567m of ascent and some minor scrambling. Participants meet at 8:45am at the glen car park near Cannich and must car share into the glen. The day suits experienced hillwalkers with good fitness, with a maximum of ten participants.
