Coup 53 + Q&A

A screening of the documentary about the 1953 coup in Iran is followed by an in-person conversation with editor and co-writer Walter Murch.

Kiln screens Taghi Amirani’s documentary about the British and US intervention against Mohammad Mosaddegh. Walter Murch, the film’s editor and co-writer, joins the post-screening conversation. Film cast, historical figures and names from Murch’s past credits are not automatically current live participants. This is the Kiln Cinema live-discussion programme at 16:00 on 14 November, not a replay of the existing Lexi Cinema screening run.
