The North Revisited – Photography Exhibition

A photography exhibition pairing John Bulmer's pioneering 1960s colour images of northern England with Simon Hill's contemporary work on the region's changing communities and identities.

The North Revisited presents photographs by John Bulmer and Simon Hill exploring northern England across sixty years. Bulmer's pioneering colour work from 1965 is shown alongside Hill's contemporary project, considering changing communities, industries and identities. The exhibition runs during visitor opening hours and is included with general admission; a separate evening conversation with the photographers and Mark Radcliffe took place on 10 October.
