About
A Christmas treasure hunt for children aged 4-11 at Roughtallys Wood nature reserve, with wildlife riddles and a treat for participants.
Epping Forest Countrycare hosts a Christmas treasure hunt at Roughtallys Wood local nature reserve in North Weald, running two sessions with children free to choose either. Youngsters answer as many Christmas wildlife riddles as they can and win a treat. Only children aged 4-11 are booked; adults must accompany them, and under-4s can attend free without booking. The event takes place on woodland footpaths, some uneven and muddy, and dogs are welcome on leads.
