About
A gallery exhibition pairing David Tress's landscape paintings with sculpture by Dominic Welch at Messum's in St James's.
EARTH LINES pairs sculpture by Dominic Welch with paintings by David Tress under a single concept. Tress's paintings respond to the British countryside through vigorous brushwork, layered surfaces and expressive colour, conveying the experience of walking, weather and history within the landscape rather than simply recording places. The exhibition runs throughout November at Messum's London gallery.
