The Wine Guild of the United Kingdom holds its annual Winter Banquet at the Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill. The evening combines a multi-course dinner with wines from English and international producers, including a Roebuck Estate Blanc de Noirs toast, with an intronisation ceremony in which new members receive their regalia and medal from the Chancellor, Viscount Thurso. The Guild also honours long-standing members and contributors during the celebration. The event runs four and a half hours and is open to members and their guests.
