Book Launch: Contemporary Chinese Studio Crafts

Dr Xiaoxin Li introduces a new study of contemporary Chinese studio craft, followed by a book signing and reception.

The book draws on five years of research into contemporary Chinese studio crafts, bringing together artists, materials, places and communities to consider how studio craft is practised and understood in China today. The event opens with author Dr Xiaoxin Li discussing ideas behind the book, then continues with a signing and reception. Copies will be available to purchase.
