About

A screening of Alex Cox's 2025 Western is followed by a live post-film Q&A with the director. Its wandering drifter compiles a list of dead Mexican labourers in a frontier story that shifts between satire and fable.

Alex Cox directs and stars in this 2025 Western about Strindler, a drifter travelling through the American West as he assembles the names of dead Mexican labourers. The official synopsis describes a darkly comic, picaresque story with crooked officials, outlaws and a speculative debt to Nikolai Gogol. The Prince Charles Cinema advertises a live post-film Q&A with Cox.
