About

Petros Singers revisit the medieval poetry behind Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols through choral settings spanning centuries, with candlelight and audience carols.

The Christmas programme marks ten years since Richard Bannan’s first festive concert as musical director. Settings include Parry, Joubert, Warlock, Berkeley, Bannan, Ord, Leighton, Gardner, Mathias, Howells, Rutter and Cecilia McDowall. Mulled wine and mince pies accompany the seasonal gathering.
