A family programme explores how Second World War RAF navigators found routes across Europe at night using calculations and compasses, with hands-on navigation challenges.
Test how RAF navigators used calculations and compasses to find routes at night. Mental-arithmetic and non-electronic-calculator challenges run 10:00–13:00 and 14:00–15:00; the flying-clothing drawing challenge runs 10:00–15:00; blindfold navigation runs 11:00–12:00 and 14:00–15:00. Drop in at the Concorde Hangar on 13–17 February. Ages 3 and over; included with museum admission.
