Getting Away with Murder: Playwriting Workshops with John Binnie

Two free playwriting workshops with dramatist John Binnie using Agatha Christie's murder mysteries as inspiration, at Mitchell Library.

Award-winning dramatist John Binnie leads two consecutive Saturday workshops using Agatha Christie's whodunnits as a starting point for creating characters, monologues and settings such as cruises, vicarages and snow-bound trains. Participants explore disguise, intrigue and revenge plots, with no previous writing experience required. The sessions run 2:30-4:00pm and participants must attend both; the workshops accompany the 'Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery' exhibition.
