The Forest of Forgotten Tales is an interactive woodland light trail through festive displays and scenes, with live music, market stalls, food and drink, and family funfair rides. It runs 2–6, 9–13 and 16–20 December 2026 from 17:00 to 21:00. The three sensory-friendly evenings (2, 9 and 16 December) have fewer flashing lights, softer music and a quieter experience; they are part of this same trail programme. Trail entry is free and no booking is required. Parking is £8.80 per vehicle; parking-permit holders pay no parking charge. The outdoor walk typically takes 30–45 minutes.
