Members' Event: Neolithic Death and Ecology Tour at Stoney Littleton

A members-only guided tour of Stoney Littleton Long Barrow exploring Neolithic burial architecture and the ecology of the Wellow Valley.

A guided members' tour of Stoney Littleton Long Barrow, one of the earliest Neolithic tombs in Britain. Participants enter the tomb to see some of the earliest architecture built in Britain and learn how early farming communities connected with the landscape and honoured their dead. The tour also explores the ecology of the surrounding Wellow Valley, including new bridge access to the site, and is graded moderate access with a hill climb and possibly uneven, muddy paths.
