Martin Taylor & Robin Nolan: While My Guitar Gently Swings

Guitarists Martin Taylor and Robin Nolan perform a Celtic Connections show of gypsy jazz and Beatles/George Harrison interpretations at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.

Martin Taylor and Robin Nolan, both rooted in the gypsy jazz tradition inspired by Django Reinhardt, join forces for a Celtic Connections performance. The evening features acoustic guitar interplay, improvisation and Hot Club de France-style swing alongside fresh interpretations of songs associated with The Beatles and George Harrison. The show traces a musical lineage from the cafés of Paris to Harrison's songbook.
