Gruesome Ghastly Guildford | Guided Walk

A free guided walk through Guildford uncovering the town's grisly history of murder, witchcraft, plague and cruel punishments.

This guided walk meets at Tunsgate Arch and reveals the unsavoury side of Guildford's history, from royal betrayals and witchcraft to plague, prison and public executions. Participants will hear tales of murder, cruel punishments, stinks and smells, and a massacre that shaped the town. The walk contains mature themes and is not recommended for children under 12.
