About
A silly MGM-style musical about an illegal 1989 Gloucester rave, deliberately featuring no music from that era, at Margate's Tom Thumb Theatre.
Rave! The Musical! tells the story of an illegal rave in Gloucester in 1989, but pointedly features no music from that era at all. Instead it embraces classic MGM-style musical tropes, including forbidden love, ludicrous plot twists and vigorous dance routines, with the show setting out to be very silly.
