Meet the Monsters – Family Tour
About
A family-friendly Halloween walk introduces the stories and history of Crystal Palace Park’s dinosaur sculptures.
Palaeontologist Dr Cassius Morrison leads a guided walk beginning at the Hylaeosaurus Head and exploring the park’s dinosaur sculptures and their Victorian origins. Two 90-minute sessions run on 31 October; the exact meeting point is preserved as a park landmark. The walk stays on paths around the lake and does not enter Dinosaur Island. Advance booking is required for each adult and child. It is aimed at ages 10+, with interested younger children welcome; the organiser requires those aged 16 or younger to attend with an adult. The published session window is 90 minutes; the organiser describes the actual walk as lasting up to 1.5 hours.
