An exhibition at the Institut français in London forming part of the 200 Years of Photography season marking the bicentenary of the first fixed photographic image.

Et voici l’image / And Here is the Image is an arts exhibition running at the Institut français from 3 December 2026 to 1 May 2027. It forms part of the Institute's 200 Years of Photography programme, a year-long season celebrating the 200th anniversary of Nicéphore Niépce's first permanently fixed photographic image in 1826. The season, awarded the Bicentenaire de la Photographie label by the French Ministry of Culture, spans exhibitions, film screenings, workshops and masterclasses exploring photography's history and its current challenges, from image proliferation online to the rise of AI.
