Pete Allen Band

The Pete Allen Band returns to The Civic for a festive evening of happy jazz with tributes to jazz legends, plus mulled wine and mince pies.

Pete Allen, an Honorary Citizen of New Orleans for his services to British jazz, leads an eight-piece band in an evening of foot-tapping jazz instrumentals and songs with a festive twist. The show features musical tributes to jazz greats including Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller, Sidney Bechet and Duke Ellington, alongside UK legends such as Kenny Ball and Acker Bilk. Mulled wine and mince pies will be available at the bar for this Christmas special.
