Have Your Say: Uckfield & Area Community Defibrillator Consultation

A free public consultation where residents can help shape a five-year community defibrillator project for Uckfield and the surrounding area.

Uckfield & Area Community First Responders are launching a five-year Community Defibrillator Project and are holding a public consultation to gather local views. The evening opens with a short presentation explaining the project's aims, how priority AED locations will be assessed, funding plans and how communities can get involved, followed by questions, discussion and feedback. Organisers want input from residents, businesses, community groups and others on where defibrillator access could be improved, potential host locations and barriers to use, and will also recruit volunteer Defib Guardians and fundraising supporters. No medical knowledge is needed and the event is open to anyone who lives, works or has an interest in the Uckfield area.
