Rhymetime
About
Free drop-in rhyme and story sessions for pre-school children led by the Storyhouse library team.
Rhymetime sessions are led by the library team and involve familiar rhymes with fun actions, using props such as puppets and characters to help young children focus and get involved. The sessions support the development of language, listening, social skills and confidence, and parents and carers are encouraged to join in as role models. Each session lasts around 20 minutes and is suitable for pre-school children. Sessions run on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10am and 11am, with the last of the year on Thursday 3 December before returning on Tuesday 5 January 2027.
