Mama's Broke

Canadian folk duo Mama's Broke bring their borderless harmony-driven folk to The Jam Jar on their 2026–27 tour for the album Reunion.

Mama's Broke, the Canadian duo of Amy Lou Keeler and Lisa Maria, play a Bristol gig presented by Ear Trumpet Music in support of their forthcoming album Reunion. Over more than a decade the pair have developed a folk-without-borders style rooted in street performance, close harmony and traditions from Eastern Canada, Appalachia and Ireland. Their JUNO-nominated follow-up to Narrow Line traces fractured communities and eroding shared ground through an acoustic core, with subtle contributions from bassist Paul Kowert. The show is for ages 16+, with under-18s accompanied by a 21+ adult at a 1:1 ratio.
