Junior Climate Champions

A free weekly after-school eco club for children aged 7-11 exploring recycling, greening and local environmental action through hands-on activities.

Junior Climate Champions is a free after-school club for children aged 7-11 that runs in 90-minute Tuesday sessions during term time. Young people learn about recycling, the environment and greening their local area, with hands-on activities including making art from recycled materials, litter picking, planting seeds and flowers, learning about edible plants, and going on local trips. Participants also create podcasts and leaflets to share their ideas with the local community, developing their skills as young activists.
