Seeing the Now: Mindful Photography (Winter)
About
A 2.5-hour mindful photography workshop exploring Craigmillar Woods in winter, using simple photographic exercises to notice the changing landscape.
Ines, founder of Seeing The Now, leads this winter session of a seasonal mindful photography series based at Bridgend Farmhouse. The 2.5-hour session begins at the farmhouse before heading into Craigmillar Woods for photographic and mindful exercises focused on light, colour, texture and change, with no pressure to create perfect photographs. Afterwards the group returns to the farmhouse for hot drinks, biscuits and relaxed conversation about what was noticed. No previous photography experience or specialist equipment is needed — a mobile phone camera is enough — and sessions are capped at 12 participants.
