Barrio Triste (2025)

In 1980s Medellín, teenagers steal a television reporter’s camera and use it to document their lives as reality begins to warp.

Stillz’s feature debut follows a group of teenagers filming their lives in an impoverished Medellín neighbourhood. Reports of strange lights coincide with distortions in time and space. The ICA notes a score by Arca and describes the film as a formally adventurous portrait of Colombia’s young people.
