About
A ten-week observational drawing course for ages 10–14, offered in morning and afternoon cohorts at the National Gallery.
Morning and afternoon cohorts meet on ten consecutive Saturdays from 16 January to 20 March. The morning cohort runs 11:00–13:00 and the afternoon cohort 14:00–16:00. Students practise line, tone, shape, perspective and colour while drawing from paintings, with exercises in figure, portraiture, landscape and mythology. All materials are supplied. Sessions are based in public gallery spaces and may occasionally move outdoors nearby; specific meeting points and tutors are shared privately after booking.
