Bookshop Bedtime Stories
About
A cosy after-hours family storytelling evening in The Reader Bookshop with blankets, babycinos and seasonal specials including author visits.
Children in pyjamas join the Storyhunters after hours in The Reader Bookshop for an hour of bedtime stories, with blankets, cushions and a free babycino, plus a chance to build a story together and browse the shop. Special editions include Halloween-themed reads on 23 and 26 October, an author visit by Jiro Bevis reading Dr Dog Snakey's Belly Ache on 13 November, Harry Woodgate presenting Grandad's Christmas on 3 December, and a Christmas special on 18 December. Families can also pre-order pizza and chips for a 4.30pm table in the Bookshop Café before the stories.
