Botanical Drawing & Painting Course - Beginners/Intermediate

A six-week evening course for adults learning botanical drawing and watercolour painting with artist Giulia Morabito.

This beginner-friendly course introduces the fundamentals of botanical drawing and watercolour painting through observational studies of flowers and plants. Sessions begin with pencil studies using chiaroscuro to capture light, shadow and structure, then progress into watercolour techniques such as washes, layering and colour mixing. Participants build towards at least one finished botanical watercolour plus a body of sketches and studies. The course is for adults aged 18 and over, with no prior experience needed; all materials are provided except a personal sketchbook.
