Jesús Rafael Soto: Pénétrable BBL Jaune

A public artwork by Jesús Rafael Soto presents a large-scale yellow Pénétrable sculpture in Kensington Gardens.

Pénétrable BBL Jaune is a 10-metre sculpture made from 4,000 suspended yellow PVC tubes. Its closely spaced strands create a shifting moiré effect, and visitors are invited to walk through the work. The 2023 edition is based on Soto’s 1999 artwork and is presented in Kensington Gardens.
