ActivBoccia - Ipswich (Whitton Sports Centre)

An inclusive seated boccia session at Whitton Sports Centre, ideal for people with limited mobility, with warm-ups, skills practice and games.

Boccia is a Paralympic sport played seated, where teams send, throw or kick balls closest to the target jack. These ActivLives sessions include fun warm-up activities and skills practices followed by plenty of games, led by an experienced Boccia Leader, with occasional friendly tournaments. No previous experience is required and the session is ideal for anyone with limited physical mobility and/or stability. The group normally meets on Thursdays from 10:30am to 12:30pm.
