The Sussex Bee Festival 2027

A day-long festival at Uckfield College celebrating bees and pollinators with talks, trade stands and an auction, organised by Sussex Beekeepers' Association.

The inaugural Sussex Bee Festival is a full day celebrating honey bees, wild bees and pollinators, aimed at beekeepers, gardeners and pollinator enthusiasts. The programme features four talks — Dave Goulson on saving our insects, Richard Rickitt on gardening for bees and pollinators, Rhona Toft on seeking varroa-resistant bees, and Marin Anastasov on self-sustained queen rearing. The day also includes bee-focused trade stands, a National Bee Unit stand, conservation stands, a curated auction, food and refreshments.
