Once Upon an Invention at Mitcham Library

A storybook adventure where children read, imagine, build, and invent creative solutions to an environmental challenge.

Build the Story: Once Upon an Invention

What if a story could inspire an invention?

Join Science Owl and Dr Renee for a fun, hands-on workshop where reading meets creativity, imagination, and invention.

We'll begin by reading a picture book together, then explore a real-world environmental challenge inspired by the story. With the help of Science Owl's scientists and engineers, you'll design, build, and test your own invention to see how your creation can help the planet!

Suitable for: Children aged 4+ and their families
