DIY Christmas Cat Toy Workshop

A festive afternoon at the Gatehouse Inn where cat lovers craft their own handmade cat flirt pole toy, with a charity ornament competition and raffle.

Hosted by Gem's Cats for the Lincoln Cat Lovers group, this four-hour workshop guides attendees step by step through making a cat flirt pole / fishing rod / wand toy with a rod, string and three removable toy attachments, using Christmas-coloured feathers, bells, tassels and strings. Hot glue guns are used, so care is needed, and hosts emphasise they are not professional toy makers. Non-crafters can attend for a lower price to socialise, and there is a £1-donation cat ornament decorating competition for the charity Pets As Therapy plus a free raffle with a cat bed prize. Under-14s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
