Pollock's Toy Museum Croydon

A free weekly pop-up from the volunteer-run Pollock's Toy Museum, with vintage toys and a Victorian toy theatre show.

Pollock's Toy Museum, a registered charity tracing its roots to Benjamin Pollock's historic toy theatre business in Hoxton, opens for free Saturday drop-in visits at Unit 49 in the Whitgift Centre. The display includes wind-up clockwork machinery, teddy bears, dolls and their houses, toys made by the local New Addington factory A Barton and by the Lines Bros' nearby Merton factory, and a Victorian Polyphon. A live Victorian toy theatre performance of Dick Whittington runs at 12pm and 2pm.
