scientific support dept. & Bel Docherty
About
A free audio-visual exhibition combining modular synth sound design and projection mapping to explore the Stirling wolf legend and mental health.
This collaboration between scientific support dept. and digital artist Bel Docherty presents 'Carnival Of The Wolf', an audio-visual work opening with the 9th-century Viking threat to Stirling and weaving in a portrait of contemporary mental health and loneliness. The piece combines a modular synth soundscape with treated pianos and ambient guitars, incorporating poetry by Stirling-based poet Harris Harrold. Created and performed for Culture Night Stirling 2026, the exhibition is shown at the Tolbooth as part of Stirling Science Festival 2026, open 10am–5pm on listed days.
