Pony Taster Day

A two-hour hands-on pony care taster session for children aged 4+, with grooming, stable activities and a ridden demonstration.

Pony Taster Day is a two-hour, confidence-building introduction to pony care for children aged 4 and over, especially beginners or those who feel nervous. Children meet the ponies, try stable mucking out, learn grooming in a hands-on mini session, help give the ponies a snack and watch a ridden demonstration by an Education Pony, finishing with a certificate. Sessions run at a gentle pace with a maximum of six children, and parents are welcome to stay; it acts as a first step before the Own a Pony Day experience.
