A beauty pageant for and by migrant domestic workers, all survivors of trafficking, hosted by Ela Hidalgo with ten Filipino candidates competing for the crown.

Binibining Migrante ('Miss Migrant' in Tagalog) is the United Domestic Workers Association's first beauty pageant, staged by and for domestic workers who are survivors of human trafficking and modern-day slavery. Ten Filipino candidates compete across rounds showcasing catwalk skills and hidden talents, hosted by Filipino entertainer and singer Ela Hidalgo. Doors open at 5pm with the pageant running until crowning at 9:30pm, with dinner served halfway through. The event will be filmed for the documentary 'In Our Beauty' directed by Aria Danaparamita, and attendees can opt out of appearing on camera.
