About
A five-channel sound-and-video installation built from a moving graphic score, ordinary observations and musicians’ improvised responses.
Jaki Irvine’s installation turns small details from her home environment into layered moving images and sound. It draws on video, photography, composition and writing; musician collaborators respond to a shifting graphic score, while the 1925 song “Show me the Way to Go Home” provides a point of reference. The work loops for 28 minutes. The page credits seven musicians as collaborators on the work, not as opening-night performers.
