Varhaisnuorten (11-13v.) Iltapäivä
About
An afternoon for 11-13-year-olds at the Finnish Church in London featuring a music workshop, socialising and treats.
The Varkkarit group for 11-13-year-olds meets for the first time at the Finnish Church in London on 8 November from 1pm to 4pm. The programme centres on a music workshop where participants work on two to three songs arranged by the teacher to suit each child's ability, with no prior music skills required; participants can sing or play piano, guitar, ukulele, kantele or percussion. The workshop is led by music educator Liisa Huttu-Hiltunen, a Master of Music from the Sibelius Academy. Finnish and English are both used as working languages, and lunch is available at the church before 1pm for those who want it.
