About

Scot Squad star Chris Forbes brings his award-winning stand-up show Father Christmas to The Stand, blending festive comedy with heartfelt storytelling.

Fresh from winning the inaugural McTavish Award at the 2026 Edinburgh Fringe, Chris Forbes tours his hit show Father Christmas. The hour blends stand-up and personal storytelling around festive joy, family and a Christmas Day that changed everything, promising trees, tinsel and tragedy. Reviews have praised it as both funny and moving, with an underlying exploration of fatherhood. The show runs approximately 100 minutes and is listed for ages 16 and above.
