Cathedral Quarter Santa's Grotto 2026

A Santa's grotto at Derby Market Hall where children meet Santa and his elves, take photos and receive a Christmas gift.

Children aged 0-12 can visit Santa's cosy grotto in Derby Market Hall, meet Santa and his elves and take festive photos. Each participating child receives a small gift from Santa plus a festive trail to complete throughout the month, and festive treats are available to purchase on the day. Visits are booked in 15-minute sessions and the grotto is a small, intimate space, so larger family groups may be asked to take turns entering. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
