Unity in Adversity - The Geopolitical Case for Joining the EU

Cambridge for Europe hosts an evening talk by Sir Nick Harvey, CEO of European Movement UK, arguing that the geopolitical case for the UK to rejoin the EU deserves greater attention alongside the familiar arguments about trade and citizens' rights. He will speak for around half an hour in the upstairs room of the Maypole, with the floor then opened to audience questions in a discussion chaired by Paul Browne of Cambridge for Europe. Doors open at 6pm for a 6.30pm start; the pub serves drinks and an Italian-influenced food menu.
