Hidden History: Intruder Mosquitos in Europe
About
A guided close look at the Mosquito NF II introduces its construction, armament and cockpit before a presentation on the aircraft’s European intruder operations and their effect on post-war air power.
The programme includes an up-close visit to the Mosquito NF II, discussion of its construction, armament, capabilities and Link trainer, lunch and a presentation on the development of intruder flying, training and European squadrons. The November page shows a 10:30 arrival and an 11:00 hangar tour, followed by lunch and a 13:30 presentation; the March page gives the same programme but does not repeat ticket prices. The guide is Jeremy Walsh, an LAHC volunteer and Mosquito historian.
