D&G Food Summits: Getting Ready for a Good Food Nation (Dumfries)

A regional summit in Dumfries bringing people, organisations and businesses together to help shape Dumfries and Galloway's Good Food Nation Plan.

The D&G Sustainable Food Partnership is hosting a summit at The Bridge in Dumfries as the start of a collective process to develop a Good Food Nation Plan for the region, as required under Scotland's Good Food Nation Act by April 2028. Participants will discuss key themes including healthy food for all, food sustainability, community food, procurement, the food and drink economy, and children and young people. The inclusive, interactive day will gather views on what is working well and invite involvement in short-life thematic working groups. A second summit takes place in Stranraer on 3 November.
