About
Modern Woman, the art-rock outfit fronted by Sophie Harris, performs live, showcasing a dynamic blend of post-punk, avant-garde, and folk traditions.
Modern Woman is a rock outfit fronted by primary songwriter Sophie Harris. Their music blends post-punk, avant-garde, and folk traditions into a dynamic live performance. The band, which includes violinist and composer David Denyer, Juan Brint-Gutiérrez on bass and saxophone, and Adam Blackhurst on drums, forges a style that values the contrasting harsh edges of folk lyricism and noise that collides with melody.
