About

A networking walk and wellbeing event at The Tawny Hotel marking International Men's Day, with a talk on stress from CLW Therapies and a deli lunch.

People, Construction & Placemaking marks International Men's Day with a morning networking walk around The Tawny Hotel's grounds in the Staffordshire countryside, followed by refreshments. Claire Oakes of CLW Therapies then gives a short presentation, 'Rewiring the Stress Habit', on stress patterns and practical tools to reset them, including an introduction to Rapid Transformational Therapy. The event closes with a deli lunch and networking, and highlights mental health in the construction industry, where male workers face a suicide risk three times the national average.
