About
A vinyl-only night of soul, rare groove, UK street soul, R&B and boogie from Vocal or Version at The Rum Shack in Glasgow.
Vocal or Version present Joy + Heartbreak, a four-hour dance night exploring soul music from Lowrider Oldies and early Jamaican soul through rare groove, jazz-funk, boogie and early Chicago house-influenced electronics. Everything is played on original vinyl, mixing treasured favourites with obscure 45s. The event is for ages 18 and over.
